About the artist
Howdy! I’m Joaquin, a middle aged family man on a journey of self discovery. Re-learning the wisdom of childhood, and un-learning the social framing imposed on me since then. Beauty is my guide. I find it, create it, and share it. After getting sober at the age of 39, I discovered the power of painting to process my emotions. I am consistently amazed at how I can use it to transform even my most difficult emotions into beautiful images. This allows me to contribute to the beauty of the world while I continue on my journey.
